Slavia/Live In Bergen-Live At Hole In The Sky 2007-/Live Album Review

Slavia where a 1 man totaliltarian apocalycptic war metal project of Jonas Raskolnikov Christiansen R.I.P from Germany which used session members from the Norwegian black metal scene for the live show and this is a review of a live album which was recorded at Hole In The Sky in Germany during 2007.

Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great album of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very strong and powerful tone with riffing that dominates throughout the recording.

Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast war/black metal riffs that are very heavy, brutal, raw and primitive sounding with some thrash influences while the lead guitars are very raw and primitive sounding guitar leads.

Vocals are all high pitched black metal screams, while the lyrics cover dark, blasphemous, hateful and war themes, as for the production on this recording it was recorded live and has a very raw and primitive sound to it.

In my opinion Slavia where a very great sounding brutal war/black metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Blasphemic Art" "Detector Of Evil" and "Not Even Human Fucking Beings". RECOMMENDED BUY.
